This project is a 200m² open plan office in a grade 2 listed building for the managing director of a large company.

The client commissioned us to design and install a cooling and heating system that would fit in with the character of the office and would not breech the regulations of the building listing.

Our design of this office consisted of a Mitsubishi VRF heat pump system supplying 6 floor standing chassis style air conditioning fan coil units.

The pipe work and cables from the units were all hidden under the oak flooring and the units were then hidden by our carpenter, who built solid oak cases around each of the fan coil units.

This system has now been installed and used through both a summer and winter season and has “performed perfectly” according to the reports from our customer.
